I am writing to you today to present a wonderful opportunity to your institution. Let me introduce myself. I am a consultant in the field of Nursing Education and Technology. The increasing popularity of online and/or distance learning has created opportunities for colleges and universities to help alleviate the growing shortage of nurses in hospitals and other patient care facilities.

You are probably asking yourself: how can a consultant help my institution relieve the nursing shortage? The answer is very simple! I would like to discuss how online nursing programs can keep nurses in the workplace and generate additional revenue for your college or university.  The additional benefit would be a better trained nurse to care for the growing population of older adults that are increasing the health care census. If colleges and universities do not think to the future, you and I will not have anyone to care for us in our later years.
